A Review of AI Chatbots in Education Systems
Main Article Content
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative technology in modern education systems. With the rapid growth of digital learning environments, educational institutions are increasingly adopting intelligent technologies to improve learning efficiency and accessibility. Among these technologies, AI-powered chatbots have emerged as valuable tools that simulate human conversation and provide instant responses to students’ queries. These chatbots assist students in academic learning, administrative tasks, and personalized educational support. Recent studies indicate that AI chatbots can significantly enhance student engagement, provide real-time assistance, and support adaptive learning environments [1][2]. This review paper examines the role of AI chatbots in education systems by analyzing their technologies, applications, benefits, challenges, and future trends. The paper also reviews recent research studies and identifies potential research gaps for further investigation.
